On request, our engineered guillotine dampers can be made to work in both flow directions as a bidirectional design. The conduit is fully clear in the open position, so the pressure loss on the system is relatively low. The seat can make direct contact with a metal seat plate, resulting in a maximum leak of 0.5%Kv. Soft sealing is also available on request, offering a tighter damper seat. To accommodate customer-specific gas conduits, squared or rectangular shapes can be made. Additionally, rounded flange designs can be supplied with flange drilling to any international standard or customer particular requirement.

The GUILLOTINE DAMPER VALVE series is classified into several varieties based on the section shape. D121 is for circular parts, D122 is for squared or rectangular sections, and D123 is for squared or rectangular sections. There are various materials available, such as carbon steel and many stainless steel grades, which can withstand working temperatures of up to 1000oC.
